It started with a question: why?
Bussing tables at 14 in my parents’ restaurant left me with a curiosity about the why behind everything.
Why do guests choose one restaurant over another? Why does one promotion work while another falls flat? Why do some places stay busy while others struggle to get people through the door?
I saw the late nights and early mornings in the kitchen, the planning, the ideas, the constant problem-solving, and everything that goes into making a restaurant tick.
After earning my Master’s in Hospitality Management from Boston University, I built a career at the intersection of hospitality, technology, marketing, and growth, working with restaurants, hotels, and hospitality technology companies.
Along the way, I saw how often hospitality businesses were being sold marketing that looked good on a report but did little for the actual business.
